Andrea Hagemann, MD

Andrea R. Hagemann is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn, Division of Gynecologic Oncology, at Washington University in St. Louis. Her clinical and research interests center around obesity and cancer. She graduated from Princeton University with a degree in molecular biology, followed by medical school and Ob/Gyn residency at Washington University. She completed her gynecologic oncology fellowship at University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and joined the faculty at Wash U at that time. During the past three years she completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation. She has become active in Wash U’s TREC (transdisciplinary research in energetics and cancer) as a site-PI for a randomized technology-based weight-loss intervention for endometrial cancer survivors. Her D&I research interests focus on implementing existing weight management strategies into cancer survivorship and prevention.
