Neetu Chawla, PhD, MPH

Neetu Chawla, Phd, MPH is a research scientist at Kaiser Permanente Northern California’s (KPNC) Division of Research. Neetu joined KPNC after completing a three-year postdoctoral fellowship as a Cancer Prevention Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Neetu received her PhD in Health Services Research and MPH in Community Health Sciences from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Her research focuses on quality of cancer care delivery and specifically on patient-provider communication, patterns of care delivery, care coordination, and cancer survivorship care. For her project as an MT-DIRC scholar, Neetu proposed to assess barriers and facilitators to implementation of survivorship care plans within the KPNC hospital system.
