Melinda Davis Receives NCI K07 Award

MT-DIRC Fellow Melinda Davis, PhD (2016 cohort) was recently awarded a 4-year NCI K07 award to begin August 1st, 2017! The award will support “PRECISE CRC” which tests tools and processes to support tailored implementation of a direct mail (DM) program in a novel population and setting: rural primary care. It will continue to support Dr. Davis in refining expertise in implementation science and mixed methods while working to address key disparities in rural cancer prevention and control

Dr. Davis has received support in the development of this K award from various MT-DIRC faculty and has included Dr. Kurt Stange (former MT-DIRC faculty) as a member of her mentoring team. We are very proud of Dr. Davis and this accomplishment!
