Jenell Coleman, MD, MPH
Dr. Jenell Coleman is assistant professor in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics with a joint appointment in the Department of Medicine. She has a particular interest in reproductive health care among disadvantaged or marginalized women including ethnic minorities, women who inject drugs, sex workers, poverty-stricken women, and women living with HIV. Dr. Coleman earned her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed Ob/Gyn residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed a fellowship in reproductive infectious diseases at the University of California, San Francisco and received a Masters of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Her D&I research interests focus on barriers and facilitators to primary HPV cervical cancer screening implementation
