Kelly Trevino, PhD
Kelly Trevino, PhD, is a clinical psychologist with specializations in geropsychology and psychosocial oncology. She received her Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University and completed fellowships at the VA Boston Healthcare System and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Trevino joined the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in Medicine in 2014. Her research examines the nature and predictors of distress in patients with cancer and their caregivers and care received at the end-of-life. In addition, she develops and evaluates interventions to reduce this distress and improve care and quality of life. As a current recipient of the Paul B. Beeson Career Development Award in Aging Research funded by the National Institute on Aging and the American Federation for Aging Research, Dr. Trevino is developing and evaluating an anxiety intervention for older adults with cancer and their caregivers.
