Melody J. Eide, MD, MPH, FAAD
Dr. Eide is a medical dermatologist and a public health scientist at Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) in Detroit, MI where she holds appointments in both the Departments of Dermatology and Public Health Sciences. Recognizing the importance of both innovation and timely application of evidence-based tools in improving health care delivery, Dr. Eide is proud to work for the Henry Ford Health System, which seeks to be at the forefront of advancing patient care and safety. Melody completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Dakota, her medical school education at Dartmouth Medical School and an internship in internal medicine (University of Minnesota) and residency training in dermatology (HFHS). She has a master’s degree in public health and completed an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)- funded post-doctoral training program in Health Services Research at Brown University. Melody’s research interests are in the area of melanoma and skin cancer. She lives in Bloomfield Hills, MI with her husband Michael and 1 year old son.
